I was listening to a old archived show and it mentioned that you use a MP3 to record EVPs. I wondered if you have had any luck using the MP3? I asked this same question on the TAPS message board and only recieved one reply saying probably not due to frequencies. I have not purchased a digital voice recorder yet but I do have a IRiver MP3 that records so I thought I would give it a shot first before I go the voice recorder route.

I watched Afterlife again last night and I noticed you were using dowsing rods on one of your hunts. I have a question for you. What type of metal do the rods need to be made of to be effective. Some say brass or bronze/steel while some say a simple coat hanger will do. I have also heard that some branches from a willow tree will work as well. What are your experiences been in regards to these dowsing rods? What type of rod has worked best for you??

First off Loose Change 911... I had actually seen it on video.google and was SOOO impressed. To say I was excited about the show would be an understatement. I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but I am a truth Seeker. And from the time I sat and watched the 911 events unfold I knew they (meaning "them") weren't giving us all the information. I have studied this stuff from day number 1 and I have to say that this GT show was one of the best ones I have listened to. The moment you guys ended the show I was amped up again to start researching and digging. Thanks for being one of the best shows on the planet.

On to other stuff. I Got your message on the cell, sorry had it turned off cause we were doing some test recordings on some new podcasting equipment. I swear you GT people are always snagging me when the phone is off, and it's usually on 24/7 two times it's been off scott calls and then you call. I apologize for not calling you back, been putting mad hours in at work, and I would send you an email, but I'm working from another station right now, so I'm doing a post on the forums... that is how lazy magnus is.

SOOOO NYC and Spare Change 911, when I first heard your message I had forgotten the title of Spare Change 911, so, my brain had thought that you were going down there to raise money or something for anti-terror... not sure why I thought that.. but I did.. and was kinda nervous... Since I'm so far away from the notions that this was a few guys taking over planes. Terra' as good ol Dubbya Says....

I didn't want to offend you, so, I was thinking of ways for me to gracefully to tell you that I wouldn't be attending something that might push lies further... but thankfully I listened to your show, and all the memories of the SC911 video came rushing back. I was releaved to know that you guys also follow my beliefs of what Big Brother is Capable of. Now that I know your stance on it, I would LOVE to attend this years 911 anniversary. For those that had lost their lives to a huge lie, for those that want the truth, and for our children so they don't have to grow up in a society where lies like this are spread.

NYC isn't close to me... You are looking at Rochester as probably your halfway point along your trail. But, you are welcome to crash here or at least stop over. We can do a few ghost hunts if you got the time the weekend before, then we travel on to NYC and do our thing there. If we want to stay there I can see who I know. I had some friends in Long Island and in jersey that might have the room... but I'm unsure what is happening with them. I'll try and pull some strings and see if they have a house we can crash at if you don't want to stay in the city itself. I have a friend that travels a lot and their house is usually left open for friends to stay at when they aren't home.

I'll see what I can do. Either way, call me again when you get a chance, or I'll call you. I forget what time you go to bed.. it's far earlier than me since I don't get to sleep till about 2 or 3am. But the phone is always on.

I just finished listening to last Wednesday's show and caught the bit about being a Dr.Who fan..are you still a fan or is that a thing of the past? Who was your favorite Dr. incarnate? Just thought I'd ask as I myself am a long time fan of the series. Though, I'm still trying to get use to the new series..

I was wondering how a field reporter for the GT site (such as myself.. hehe) would go about posting images from ghost hunting events and such. Should I use my blog area?

Story behind this question:
A rather weird thing had happened at my parent's house a short while ago. While this house is rather weird, and considered haunted in one way or another by my friends and family members we have never done to much research there. Namely because I was a wuss and I really didn't want to be scared as I lived there. But, many things could not be ignored. for instance, the sounds of people walking down the hallways, footstets (and dragging sounds) from the steps, mysterious black entites outside, to phantom flames (like from a torch) being carried around the outside of the house. (seriously it was a weird place, and it wasn't more that 20 years old of a home..)

But... My brother and mother were sitting in the kitchen reading the newspaper, all was quiet when they heard a "Ping". Looking at each other, they realized that neither of them had made such a sound. The stood up and walked to the center of the kitchen and sitting on the floor was a small key. One that neither of them (or the rest of the family) had seen before. There was not a counter or table near where this could have fallen from. It literally seemed to have appeared in the middle of the kitchen and fell to the floor.

We have yet to find the lock that this fits into. But, I tell you that my mother is holding onto this key!

Hey Doug, love the new site! Is there a link box with field reporter emails that Im missing somewhere? I really liked this feature in the old site and I hope it continues with the new site...
