Press Release
Indiana-S.P.I., EERIE Radio, and Crossroads Paranormal are proud to present Indiana-PhenomeCon 2008 in Historic Columbus Indiana.

Paranormal enthusiasts raise money for the Crump Theatre.

Columbus, Indiana (Wednesday, February 13, 2008) Hosts announce the first ever Indiana-PhenomeCon 2008, on Saturday April, 19th 2008 in Columbus Indiana.

The paranormal related convention hosted by Indiana-SPI, EERIE Radio, and Crossroads Paranormal is set for Saturday April, 19th 2008; doors will open at 9:00am with the event beginning at 10:00 am lasting until 6:00 p.m. at the historic Crump Theatre 425 3rd Street Columbus, IN 47201.

The Crump Theatre built in 1874, as an Opera House, has fallen into serious disrepair and is in need of renovation. The Crump underwent a thorough renovation in 1941, when it was redesigned in Art Moderne style, including its dramatic facade, with its two-story tall vertical marquee, illuminated by chaser lights. The Crump remained popular for decades, until declining ticket sales forced the theatre to close in 1987. The theatre came close to being demolished, but fortunately was spared. Help save this Columbus Indiana landmark and restore it to its former grandeur.

Event Synopsis: Indiana-PhenomeCon 2008, a fundraiser and pop culture event attracting paranormal enthusiasts from around the Midwest. This convention will offer attendees exclusive access to industry exhibitors and retailers.

Guests of Honor include famous authors Linda Zimmermann and Wanda Lou Willis.

Tickets for the event are now on sale online at http://www.phenomecon.net for $12.00 per person and $15.00 at the door on the day of the event. Seats are limited!

To purchase tickets and for full details about sponsorship and vendor opportunities please visit:

"Anything Ghost Podcast"

By lex at May 23, 2006 - 12:04am | Listener Links

Hi all,

I started a new podcast (back in February).
The basis of the podcast (Anything Ghost), is that I read emailed personal paranormal experiences sent to me (lex@anythingghost.com).

Also (because the emails are a might slow) I cover other paranormal stories and topics.

Stop by and listen in:
anythingghost.com
or...
check it out on iTunes.

Hope you don't bust a jawn bone yawing---I know my personality pales in comparison to the Ghostly Talk crew.

Sad to see Will left.
:(

C'Ya,
Lex

BTW: I'm the one who created that "Ghostly Talk" logo that is now in use (the stairway). I submitted it last year during the logo contest. The picture is of the "Brown Lady" ghost walking down the stairs. I removed the spectre and put in the fonts. :)

I must add that I really preferred the other logo that I created for the contest better (2nd place winner)--which is actually similar to the one I use on Anything Ghost now. I put an iPod in a cemetery, making it appear to be a gravestone.

Overnight on Elissa!

By 8bit at May 9, 2006 - 6:13pm | Listener Links

My newly formed 'Texas Paranormal' meetup group is hosting a most excellent event for anyone in the Texas area. We will be spending the night onboard the Tall Ship Elissa (Tushy Galores namesake). She's 130 years old and saltier than my grandpa!

Description:
Share the adventure of the high seas at the Texas Seaport Museum, home of the celebrated 1877 tall ship ELISSA. Explore the decks of this floating National Historic Landmark which has also been designated one of America’s Treasures by the National Trust for Historic Preservation. Walk ELISSA’s decks and imagine the days when daring sailors challenged the world’s oceans. In the adjacent museum and theater, witness the story of ELISSA’s dramatic rescue from the scrapyard and her meticulous restoration.

-Whats included,
Overnight onboard the Elissa, just like the Battleship Texas last month.
We'll be free to roam the ship and sleep wherever we choose!
Fun & interesting activities with the crew.
We get a hot, catered breakfast - not like the Battleship!
All equipment will be allowed (recorders, cameras, video, etc.)
An optional/seperate tour of the haunted railroad museum may be added on for an additional admission fee, either before or after the overnight.
Children 8 and over will be allowed!
The catch-
We need a minimum of 30 people to attend!

Please dont wait 'till the last minute on this one! All payments must be recieved by June 7th. The only way we can pull this off is to have everyone paid on their RSVP's as soon as possible!

The cost is $40 a person, that includes everything except parking and railroad museum tour. I will try to map out the best parking I can find and post it up!

To RSVP, join our 'Texas Paranormal' meetup group and sign up!
Texas Paranormal
I cant wait to see everyone there!
8-)

Postmortem Creations

By Scorpios at March 5, 2006 - 4:01pm | Listener Links

I have had in interest in collecting bones for a while, and recently decided to actually do something with them.

For those who believe in the astral body or spirit, it is common to also share the belief that the things people are in contact with often
can actually resonate or carry a lingering essence of their spirit/energy.

On that note, please take a look at my website.
