I have been listening alot lately to Home Town Tales podcast, and they deal almost exclusivly with urban legends past and present and paranormal news. I was wondering if you guys have ever considered doing a segment on this topic?

I just listened to the archive of Tara Night's interview from i believe 2005 and she was a hoot! I would love to hear her back on again. You had talked about getting her back on durring the show but I checked all the archives and do not see that it ever happened.

Im not sure if you guy's have done a segment on this ...
But i just watched a show on discovery about this ...and im sure it would make for some interesting discussion.....
It's a spear that is said to be the spear that pierced jesus while he was on the woodwork.....
look's cool .......It's also (apparently) contains one of the nail's from the crucifixion.......

I know it look's like a load of B/S. BUT.
When you look at all the emperor's ...King's.. and Ruler's that have held this relic.............Boy it make's you think....
Maybe it does have some power....

like i said....makes for some good discussion....no?

Also it made an appearance in the movie's...Constantine & Hellboy.......so maybe worth a mention.

Another thing that could tie into that is the Nazi OBSESSION with the occult......

Hi folks,
I just have one observation that I would like to make. The sound levels during the show are sometimes inconsistant. I listen to the show alot on my ipod at work. I have to crank up the volume to hear you guys sometimes. What's very painful is when you guys get exited about something and start talking loud- it kills my freakin' ears. Other that buying some special headphones, is there a way to make the sound levels consistant?

PS- The show rocks always!!

I don’t know that this will be popular, but I miss the Old Vintage ghostly talk. Shows that explored issues and paranormal happenings. Now it seems it’s about this groups outing or sometimes music or all of these people who are in these groups and their foray into exploring the paranormal. That’s cool and all every once in a great while, but I miss the first year style of ghostly talk. You took a topic and you explored it and discussed it. I listened to hear ScottL and Doug, and now it seems like everyone else in the world is on with them. This is just my opinion, so I figured I would express it. But I hope maybe in the future you can return to the Original format for Ghostly Talk. Because personally (no offence to any of the other people who contribute to the show) I listened to the show for Doug and Scott and the occasional interesting guest (as in 1 or 2 people, not a whole group) Mostly it was the way you guys could tell a story and give interesting viewpoints on things like dreams, and ball lightning and hauntings. I miss that Ghostly Talk. I honestly have no idea what the shows are about anymore since before I could tell by the title of the file\show, and now the title leaves me clueless. Just My 2 Cents. Not to sound bad guys, but the podcast is rather quiet. I have to increase the audio by 100% to actually have it heard. Any way to boost the audio a bit?

I have been living in fall river MASS. for a lil over 4 years now all i ever hear is how spooky salem MASS is it has a great history of witches and witch trials so i believe it would be a great trip for (ghostly talk) to take i truely believe that salem would be very rich in super natural activity im not speaking from experience because unfortunately i have never been to salem myself but would love to go i think it would be worth your time to investgate salem espeacialy since the great intrest people have in the bell witch in adams TENN. thank you for your time i can't express how much i enjoy (ghostly talk)sincerely w.k.

I've been ghost hunting (homes as well as cemeteries) since March 1999. I have taken pictures of mirrors and/or reflective, which at first often was by accident. I do know the difference between reflective orbs and such, but I have gotten entities in them.

Also faces in orbs. I have a friend that knew I saw faces in a lot of orbs, and she sent me a few of her friends pictures with orbs in them, wanting to see what I saw in them. When I described the person (if I saw one) in it, and some had stories to them, her friends then would send a picture of the person I described to a T while that person was alive and how the story related to their life.

Just suggestions.

You guys should do some shows on location. The interview with Tonya as she was going through the house was great.
It doesnt have to be live, just setup a base and interview the guys throughout the night.

I am a podcast fanatic guys. But, the trouble is that when i want to go back and listen to a previous shows I either have to remember the guests name, or sort of guess at it.

I was wondering if it was possibly to place a date in the title of the podcasts.

for instance. "Uri Gellar" could be "Uri Gellar - January 1, 2006" I have been archiving the podcasts and I take them with me on long road trips. It just might make it easier for the podcast audience if you were to do this. It is the way that Coast to Coast AM does with the stream link MP3. (ie Coast To Coast AM - Sep 01 2005 - Hour 1) but at least with you guys you have the guests names in your title.

I noticed this was an issue when I was showing people your show and they downloaded it using Juice or iPodder. It would download the last 5 shows, but itunes would display it alphabetically. So, they listened to them all out of order and didn't realize it.

I notice you guys are pretty damn diverse, as far as topics go, yet in my opinion you never go with anything really over the top. I wish some of these "big" talk show personalities, with millions of listeners in their audience; would apply half the scrutiny to the stuff they covered. ( HINT: Hoax 2 Hoax. )

Anywho, as said in my initial thread, I don't THINK you guys have done a show covering the Annunaki, or Planet X in general. I could be overlooking something - not sure. I think it'd make for an awesome show; personally I think Sitchin stretches it sometimes, but all-in-all, to me it sounds like one of the most likely scenarios for our "coming about."

Trying to think of other topics I'd like to hear you guys discuss, but I'm drawing a blank at the moment, brain freeze.

I have a suggestion for a future show, hope you take it into consideration.

"Bloody Mary and other mirror ghosts".

For quite some time, mirrors have been held in high superstitions. In times past, people have thought that the reflection seen in the mirror was in fact a person's soul. Not to mention, the concequences one is supposed to have for breaking a mirror. Because of the superstitions, mirrors have been said to have their share of ghosts, like Bloody Mary, Candyman, etc.

Hope you take it into consideration.
