Just wondering if anybody did any paranormal snooping and had a good story or some great evidence. I didn't, so sorry. just asking.

I have been noticing lately that every paranormal show seems to always find a haunted location, I mean everyone. I wish everywhere I could see was haunted, and someone with me get touched, or have a spirit try to take control of them. What a bunch of crap.

Ok so I have been listening to alot of different shows on the net, and after listening to them I have to say, GT is still the best. I have found alot of them seem to think the more they claim a place is haunted,even though they don't offer anything other their personal thoughts,the more folks will listen. No solid eveidence,no talking about hwo they reach their conclusions, just endless self hype and babble. The same thing that is happening to some TV shows.
I miss you guys but atleast I have the older shows to listen to.

Scott, I must say, while not the answer I was hoping for, I completely understand. I read your post and it was exactly what I have come to expect, honest and straight up.I understand your feelings about the direction the paranormal research field has taken lately, seems EVERYONE is an expert because they watch one show or the other.That's what set yall apart, you were honest, up front, and didn't candy coat things just to"sell"the show.
As for your decision, if you're not happy why put forth a sub par effort and let the show sink into the ranks of others. I have always put GT at the top of the list, and would rather just listen to past shows than listen to it become just another paranormal show. I hope you do well with all your pursuits, and maybe just do a few shows, or even have Doug and Bonnie keep things going. Look forward to hearing from them also. In the mean time,"may you have fair seas,and the wind be at your back".

Almost a year without the show and only a vague mention of "something soon".

I know ya'll don't owe us anything, but some word on the future of the show would be appreciated.

...especially after meeting Scott and Doug in 2008...I miss my friends :)

Best wishes to you, Scott, but in my opinion Doug and Bonnie were the real "Ghost Hunters". Please, Doug and Bonnie, breathe new life into "Ghostly Talk". The two of you go places and do things that I myself cannot. I truly appreciate and miss you. Come on back, I'm watching and waiting. I despise the so-called ghost hunters on television (how totally fake). We need you all to keep it real.

With out GT where are you getting your paranormal fix? I have been listening to some older stuff here, and old Art Bell.
On a side note, any ideas when GT will return?

While we wait for two of our favorite podcasters to come back from hiatus, what are others listening to to try to fill the void? I need some good suggestions.

So I finally listened to the "last" episode of GT while on a bus from NYC to the Finger Lakes, after putting it off forever. It was a great episode, perhaps in a while. I couldn't agree with the GT crew more.

So in honor of my listening to the last episode of Project 2 I wanted to jot down my favorite GT moments. Just for the record, my choices are by favorite moments either in their pure entertainment or in them being of the "what I love(d) about GT" and not about me agreeing with or loving the guest.

These are in no particular order!

1) The Savage House
2) The first(?) GT Halloween episode when they presented prepared information
3) Al Bielek interviews
4) Brian Jones interviews
5) Aaron Donahue interviews
6) Whisper's Estate (although I have some questions about the "phenomena" that has been captured there)
7) All the accidentally perverted moments, i.e. when Scott L. said that psychic vampires were "sucking on" him...
8) Dave Brockie interviews
9) Any GT that involves one of the crew having a reading
10) The interview with the channeled spirit with the British accent who is uber-positive (I forgot the couples/spirit's name)...

Hi Gang, I see Scott L. you stop by alot to check on things, and that is a good sign for all of us fans. I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Years! Here's hoping for a 2010 full of paranormal experiences!

The sad but understandable news that GT II is now over has come as a surprise.

I've listen to the shows for about 6 years now and have have helped out when I can to support the show. I wonder if there is fans like me out there. I've never been on a Ghost hunt or even wanted to. The paranormal is just CREEPY. But I have been so interested in it. When I finally found a show that was funny and light-hearted I was so happy. Now I can indulge and learn with out being freaked out.

I have laughed out loud while at work listening to the show. What I remember is Scott L's bum "watching' and his bazaar funny real life stories. Doug's mistaken identity story as "Carl" and his and Bonnie"s hill roll story. The everyday commonality stories are priceless. A jewel of the show was the way you chat with the guests real down to earth and the guests like Gregory or Wonders you can't get that kind of interview anywhere else. People try to be so held back on there questions and personality it seems.

For now the ratio of places to go to get real ghost info is way tilted in the wrong direction with GT on hiatus.

I hope you guys come back even stronger in the new year? So everyone please add your thoughts on what GT means to you to on this post.

So.... uhmmmm, anyone else watch it?

I'm a fan of the podcast they do, but blood rituals, summoning circles and destroying property....

Heard even John Zaffis signed a petetion to get it removed.

I was struck how "Picture Prayers" kind of remind me of what Transcendental Meditation practitioners (like myself)are doing as well when we meditate. Basically you are trying to tap-in to conciousness, energy, the universe, God, etc.. through different meditative states (which prayer can be considered in a practical sense). Although I am somewhat skeptical about religion per se, I am all for people trying to tap-in to "whatever". It can only improve the individual and society as a whole.
