While we wait for two of our favorite podcasters to come back from hiatus, what are others listening to to try to fill the void? I need some good suggestions. Thanks.
I am so ready for spring, late winter, what ever just so it doesn't involve snow.
hey guys and gals, Just wanted to let yall know I am still hanging around and waiting on yalls return.Hope you are enjoying your time off, be safe!
By VeganGhosty at January 4, 2010 - 1:40pm | General Greetings All, So I finally listened to the "last" episode of GT while on a bus from NYC to the Finger Lakes, after putting it off forever. It was a great episode, perhaps in a while. I couldn't agree with the GT crew more. So in honor of my listening to the last episode of Project 2 I wanted to jot down my favorite GT moments. Just for the record, my choices are by favorite moments either in their pure entertainment or in them being of the "what I love(d) about GT" and not about me agreeing with or loving the guest. These are in no particular order! 1) The Savage House Thanks for all that you do GT!
Hi Gang, I see Scott L. you stop by alot to check on things, and that is a good sign for all of us fans. Please pass along a BIG howdy to the GT gang from old Poppy, and my wishes for everyone to have a safe and happy new years! I'm looking forward to yalls return, and all the great chats that happen during the show.
I hope everyone has a very Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Years! Here's hoping for a 2010 full of paranormal experiences!
The sad but understandable news that GT II is now over has come as a surprise. I've listen to the shows for about 6 years now and have have helped out when I can to support the show. I wonder if there is fans like me out there. I've never been on a Ghost hunt or even wanted to. The paranormal is just CREEPY. But I have been so interested in it. When I finally found a show that was funny and light-hearted I was so happy. Now I can indulge and learn with out being freaked out. I have laughed out loud while at work listening to the show. What I remember is Scott L's bum "watching' and his bazaar funny real life stories. Doug's mistaken identity story as "Carl" and his and Bonnie"s hill roll story. The everyday commonality stories are priceless. A jewel of the show was the way you chat with the guests real down to earth and the guests like Gregory or Wonders you can't get that kind of interview anywhere else. People try to be so held back on there questions and personality it seems. For now the ratio of places to go to get real ghost info is way tilted in the wrong direction with GT on hiatus. I hope you guys come back even stronger in the new year? So everyone please add your thoughts on what GT means to you to on this post.
So.... uhmmmm, anyone else watch it? I'm a fan of the podcast they do, but blood rituals, summoning circles and destroying property.... Heard even John Zaffis signed a petetion to get it removed. What did you guys think?
Good luck with all that you do. Waiting patiently for Project III!
By VeganGhosty at August 13, 2009 - 4:01pm | General I was struck how "Picture Prayers" kind of remind me of what Transcendental Meditation practitioners (like myself)are doing as well when we meditate. Basically you are trying to tap-in to conciousness, energy, the universe, God, etc.. through different meditative states (which prayer can be considered in a practical sense). Although I am somewhat skeptical about religion per se, I am all for people trying to tap-in to "whatever". It can only improve the individual and society as a whole.

Max, I'm getting nostalgic.. Looking back now.. and being way above the fray I bothered myself with a few short years ago.. I propose this to you, and I'll plainly tell you why. I came back here to read at least one of your posts, and it is quite obvious to me that you are quite intelligent. MY attitude/s have changed regarding my possible pursuits of ITC and all things intellectual. I would very much like to have an interactive conversation with you over the phone. Yes, I would like to record it, but if you're not willing, I would not, and still would like to converse with you. Are you willing ? Please simply check one of the choices below YES [ ] NO [ ] or please offer realistic steps of negotiation if you will. Thanks .... Brian J. Oh Yeah ... please contact me at inventor2012@yahoo.com
Doug, Scott L. and Bonnie: I know as most of your listeners do how much you put into your show. There is no need to ever apologize about delaying your program, taking some time off, or moving things back because of your workload. I'm in awe at how you find the time to do all that you do. You do all of this freely and for your listeners, and for that I am grateful. Never feel guilty about taking some time off when you need to. You deserve to be flexible with Ghostly Talk and this listener more than understands. James
Just wanted to say that i have been listening to the lost archives and i love them LOL i have missed that old intro music and now i can't get it out of my head LOL thanks for posting them...
By xanadu1215 at March 4, 2009 - 7:56am | General Hi Just a comment on Scottl's interview last week. I've been studying human nature for 54 years now, ergo my age: sheesh One lesson I've learned is that, if something upsets us, then don't Using our Dear ScottL as an example. If you truly want to open the door for someone then regardless of their reaction, The anger should trigger that this 'experience' is something worth exploring and unsderstanding So I say as a compliment to Scottl, "open the door without expectations". Hugs

By WitchfinderGeneral at February 24, 2009 - 12:47am | General What is the most terrifying (true) ghost/poltergeist story anyone's heard or experienced?
By MGFontenot at February 2, 2009 - 5:42pm | General I am filming a documentary about the infamous Shadow Man, or "Hat Man". This figure has been seen by people of all ages, usually in the early morning or in the middle of the night. He has no face or figure, and appears to be wearing a cloak and round-brimmed hat. If you have seen the Hat Man and would be willing to talk on camera about what you have seen, please e-mail me. There is no pay, but we will travel to you for the brief interview. Unfortunately, due to budget constraints, I can ONLY travel to people in the Southern California for interviews. However, if you'd like to share your story by phone, that is a possibility as well. If I get some responses to this posting, I will respond with my contact information.

By xanadu1215 at December 22, 2008 - 7:56am | General Hi Guys However, something that should also have been brought up was this. "In Atlanta, in 1924, the Coca-Cola sales and marketing team had a problem. Sales of Coke had been rocketing over the past 20 years, but these figures exhibited a dramatically uneven pattern. Each summer, US consumers set off for the beach, or to watch a baseball game with a bottle of Coke in hand. But during the winter, sales of Coke were sluggish. The team was desperate to increase the brand's sales and prevent it becoming seen as a seasonal product. Somehow they needed to make Coke a winter drink. Sundblom replaced the receiver and, deep in thought, looked up at his friend. Sundblom looked again at his plump, white-haired, elderly neighbour and an idea began to form. Using his best friend as a model and with the corporate identity of Coke in mind, Sundblom set out to create a new vision of Santa Claus. This interpretation of the yuletide figure, with his cola-coloured belt and Coke-consistent red and white outfit, was in stark contrast to many of the historical descriptions of Santa. But the image worked and for the next 35 years the 'Sundblom Santa' was the subject of an annual advertising campaign showing Coke and Christmas in perfect harmony. Gradually, Coke became accepted as a staple of Christmas. Winter sales matched those in the summer, and Santa Claus was forever defined in the image of Coca-Cola (and a retired salesman called Lou). Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Branding Strategy Insider." Ho Ho Ho Happy Holidays and could you image Santa if Jolt Cola tried to use this marketing ploy?

Until the 1970s,wars and conflicts fought mostly in the daylight hours. Do the ghosts from ships, battlefields, even airplanes, remember this and come out during the day? Would that be the best time to look around? or do they still mostly appear at night, and that is the best time, or a third which covers all the bases, start in the daylight and continue into the night?
Happy Halloween, Samhain... day of the dead. May you see what is there as the veils grow thin. *smiles*
Hahaha, I just read this one this morning... • Democrats' advice for Obama: Tie McCain to Bush LOL
