Brian Jones

Hi, I loved the interview with Brian Jones. Based on his conversations with you abouth himself, I could'nt help but wonder if he suffered from a Bipolar disorder. Based on what he told you about his sleep and eating patterns, he discribed some of the symptoms of it. This made me think that maybe this condition allows him to me very sensitive to the things he has experienced. Any input from anyone?

I also thought this...right away I picked this up. His longterm habits and speech pattern sounds like a classic manic phase. I have bi-polar disorder and the manic phase is very much like this, with hearing constant voices and an alternate way of perceiving reality, the lack of sleep and food for days..the quick change of topics in midstream...the rambling on and on and on...I think he needs medication to stabilize his mood. He also spoke of a deep depression where he couldn't get off the couch, this is the depression phase. Untreated, it's very debilitating and almost impossible for a person to hold down a stable job.
