Ghost Pictures. Someone Teach Me. Please!!!

By Johnsmonte at January 27, 2006 - 4:08pm | Scientific

All across the internet ghost hunting groups, U.F.O. groups, any paranormal groups, Bigfoot groups, Etc, Etc, Etc. all have pictures of what they think might be something unexplained in them. Don’t get me wrong I am not knocking any of these groups for what pictures they have posted. Instead I am going to write about some information that I think we all need to know about if we want the facts and truths to come out about the pictures we see and take.
Did you know that most people that take pictures have never taken a photography class? Most groups do not have a photography expert in them, so what pictures they do post can not be verified if there is something in them or not. Most pictures that have something in them could easily be identified if the pictures were taken to an expect. So why are these pictures not verified you ask?
Well cost for one. To take your picture to an expert like Polaroid it would be expensive. Time is another problem. People don’t want to take the time to have the picture looked at and verified. Instead they chose to throw the picture up on their web sit for instant gratification. Another problem now a day is that digital cameras are being used more, so to take a picture and post it on the internet takes only a few minutes.
Different types of cameras are being used now and if you ever ask someone how their camera really works. They would probably tell you just point and click. There is some much more too just point and click a camera. If you have a camera with film you have much more ways for your picture to show something that is unidentified in it. The way the film was processed could cause something to show up that you did not see at the time you took the picture. Because places use machines when they develop film it has a more chance of having the pictures come out with spots, runny colors, orb like objects, hazy look to the picture, and many more unidentified mark in the picture.
Having a camera that takes film is still a lot better than a digital camera. Because you have film you can have the negative looked at by an expert photographer to have the picture verified that it was not tamped with. Or it might cost you some money but you could learn to develop your own film. This way you would know from the time you took the picture to the time you had a finished picture that nothing had been tamped with and the development process was done correctly.
Digital cameras are still being improved everyday and a new one comes out every few week. Unlike a camera that takes film a digital takes a picture and stores it on a little card. Also because the picture is digital it is made up of “Pixels” just like your television. This means if you look really close at your television while it is on you will see little boxes which combined with other little boxes make a complete picture. Because of this if a pixel is burnt out, fading, or did not focus right then you might get a spot, faded spot in the picture, line in the picture, or even some haze in your picture.
I hope that this little article helps you understand that you need to question what you really see in pictures. Not until you have taken away every possible cause for the abnormity in the picture can you know what it really is. If you see many Bigfoot pictures that are blurry ask why they could not get at least one clear photo of Bigfoot.
Remember this if anything else from this article, “If the picture is real. Then let them tell you how they verified the picture and where is the certificate and letter of the person who certified the picture. And is the person who certified the picture them self certified”.
