Yes, the Texas sun was indeed paranormal! I am still pretty dehydrated...lol.. Mama Jacks was not only some really good 'eatin', but probably the friendliest diner I've ever experienced! Hats off to the waitresses who made us feel right at home! The Kirby-Hill house turned out to have slight activity upstairs and we are planning to negotiate an overnight stay in the future! When we arrived at Indian Springs we got a big surprise when Ron told us he had unlocked all of the cabins as well as the lodge and told us we had the run of the entire camp for the night!!! Whoohoo! That lodge really rocked and turned into our base of operations for the night. The camp itself was pretty creepy, something right out of a horror movie! We spent most of the night out on Brag Rd. searching for the legendary ghostlights. What we did experience was dozens of local ghosthunters trying for some evidence! Turns out ghosthunting is something of a local pastime amongst the towns youth! Shelley did an outstanding job organizing the investigation for the night! I just sat back and watched her work, and I was impressed! We wrapped the night up by following a friendly local out to one of the more active cemeteries and doing your standard ghosthunt. We had many experiences amongst our group members and the general consensus is that YES, Kountze Tx is indeed haunted! Thanks go out to everyone who made it out there, you all made this an incredible experience! Those that missed us (:D), sorry- you missed out!!! We will definitely be doing this again in the very near future! login to post comments |
