Books and paper products are the next to go. Somehow electronic equipment will still be let on planes...hmmm.

Electronics on planes.

If all electronics are banned on commercial flights in the US, the number of people travelling via plane will plummet because businessfolk will no longer be able to get any work done. It would be a more profitable use of time to carpool or take a train for business purposes because laptop computers could still be used. The airlines would feel it in very, very short order.
