Wanted your opinions

I just wanted to get your opinions on a photo I took. It was taken at my friends house by my friend. She has dark brown hair, it was about 60 degrees or so outside, the sun was behind the building on your left (my right). I'm the woman standing in the background of the picture, and my daughter is the child in the middle of the picture. When I first saw it I just said "oh I must have gotten my hair in the shot, until I realized that I didn't take the picture b/c I'm IN it. I was the only one there with blonde hair that day. I don't know if someone with dark brown almost black hair would have their hair show up blonde almost white in a picture if it got in the way or not, but that seemed odd. Also, there are some spots that are in the middle of the camera and in other places that don't appear to be attached to the things on the side so I don't think it's hair. I could be wrong. Anyway, I'm just curious if any of you have any ideas as to what it could be??? This is the ONLY picture taken in that spot that turned out this way. Several others were taken and turned out fine. Just looking for opinions from skeptics and believers alike!!!

The shape at the top does not appear to be hair of some kind, but neither does it look like a lens flare. While the possibility of something paranormal cannot be ruled out (or confirmed, for that matter) due to insufficient evidence, it is possible that the shapes are the result of defects in the film and/or the lens.

What sort of camera was used to take the photographs in question?

Looks like hair at the top. I agree with Doug that the rest looks like lens flare.

My opinion

Looks too much like lens flare to be submitted as hard paranormal evidence. But I'm not going to say that your daughter wasn't being watched by a kind and departed soul. Perhaps she and someone else was having lots of fun playing in the yard?
