Just announced was the "Weird Winter" event in Decatur, IL. on Feb. 17, 2007 at Lincoln Theater.

Join us for the weirdest event you'll ever attend --- our annual wintertime gathering, which will be held for the first time at the haunted Lincoln Theater in Decatur, Illinois! Reserve at seat at this 1916 vaudeville house and prepare yourself for some of the most unusual sights and sounds that you may ever experience! Here's what you can look forward to at our Weird Winter Event:

Presentations by weird authors Troy Taylor (Weird Illinois), Linda Godfrey (Weird Wisconsin & Weird Michigan) and Jim Willis (Weird Ohio), plus a full day of book signings, questions and answers, weird displays and much more!

Spirited Displays and Presentations from our "On the Fringe" Ghost Groups, including Jennifer Lauer & Kathy Richardson from Southern Wisconsin Paranormal Research, Kris Baker from Crossroads Paranormal in Indiana and the American Ghost Society's own Len Adams & Luke Naliborski (authors from So, There I Was) from Illinois!

Books, Books & More Books... Not only will there be Weird Books from the featured authors but we'll also have booths and book displays from Whitechapel Press and the History & Hauntings Ghost Book Catalog! There will also be door prizes and raffles and concessions from the Lincoln Theater!

Special Ghost Event! Haunted Overnight Investigation of the Lincoln Theater

Join us after the Weird Festivities of the Day for a All-Night Ghost Hunt at the Lincoln Theater! Take part in this spirited search and spend the night in a hunt for the phantoms of his legendary theater, which has long been regarded as one of the most haunted places in the Midwest. Be prepared for one of the scariest nights of your life and discover if the Lincoln is really as haunted as legend has it! Starts at 10:00 p.m. on February 17!
