Hey there

By Ghostly Designs at January 24, 2006 - 9:04pm | Introductions

Just wanting to say hello and kind of re-introduce myself, posted quite rarely on the old board. I'm Terry from north Texas, not officially a member of any ghost group but I still get around to some of the interesting spots.

The other day I suddenly realized I didn't have to listen to morning drive chatter I could wake up to something interesting. So I started listening to the archives on the commute to work. Well like they say everything is bigger in Texas, so on the days when everyone behaves it's only a 45 minute trip one way, I'll be all caught up in a couple of months, so keep them coming.

Another fellow Texan

Hey, Terry. I live in the North Texas area as well. The archives are great, aren't they? Quite helpful and entertaining when you sit in front of a computer at work all day. That's when I've been listening to them.

Hopefully, someday I'll be able to join a ghost group or go exploring. It just hasn't happened yet. Right now I just live vicariously through these guys! What a great show!

Hey Cat!

I just burn the archives onto a CD and listen while sitting on the highway. I wish I could listen while at work but my job requires focused attention to what I'm doing, you wouldn't think it's so hard being a toy designer.

The only groups around here that I am aware of are down in Denton, the metroplex or further south and west. I'd really like to get together with some like minded folks in the Lake Texoma area, then I wouldn't have to hunt alone. Did I say that, no... never hunt alone!

Hey Terry!
I'm in the Houston/Galveston area of the Gulf Coast. We have several groups down here and are planning a couple of roadtrips over the next year. Maybe we can get you included in some hunting action! Nice to meet ya and keep in touch!

Hi, welcome.. or welcome back, as the case may be!

I've got a Live Journal friend who has a group in the Dallas/Ft Worth area, they're a pretty big deal around those parts. If you'd like to check them out there's the link http://www.dagulfsghost.com/

Texas Ghost Hunters

Yes I'm aquainted with Chris, used to talk with him regularly on the Ghouli board. Haven't heard from him in a while, since he changed jobs a year or year and a half ago. I thought they were mostly around Maybank, and I'm so far north I'm almost in Oklahoma.

Thanks for the information.
