By Writer9727 at May 3, 2006 - 6:52pm | Ghost Hunting Tips & Tricks

Hi. I was wondering if anyone had a realyl good, easy to use/very friendly software program for editing audio recorded while ghost hunting. I have a really good digital audio recorder that hooks to my pc but no good software program so that I can clean up the recording so I can listen for any possible evp. Can someone help me?

Another good one is 'Blaze Media Pro'

You may be able to get this software free with certian A/V cards and capture systems. It will give you some basic recording and filter tools for video as well as audio. It's a small program and it's not to hard to use.
You may have to purchse it, the link above is for a trial.
There is also a straight to MP3 format recorder program which is really small and great for recording to laptop in the field.

Allot of folks like 'Cool Edit Pro'.
It has ton's of filters, and is pretty user friendly. We have actually used it for professional radio broadcasting for commercials, etc., for quite some time. Even the older versions will suit your needs. There are tons of other useful plug-in's as well.
