Bummed out

 

On the 5th of April I turned 39. On the 9th of April we found out my father has lung cancer. On the 10th of April it was a year anniversary of my Mum's death.

This past/present weekend/week has sucked.

Oh Lupi!!!

It has been a crappy time for you. I'm very sorry to hear about your father. I know how awful that can be - my grandfather passed away in 2004 of lung cancer. I will keep your father, you, and the rest of your family in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this rough time. The aniversary of your mom's passing didn't help the news any I'm sure. Wish I was there to give you a big ol' squeeze.

As for your birthday ~ girl, you're only getting better with age! Hee hee..that's something I try to tell myself, too!! I remember how bad turning 30 sucked. I'm hoping 35 isn't too bad. Did you at least do something nice for yourself for your birthday to celebrate????

Oh, I didn't do anything for my Birthday. I will next year when I hit the big Four Zero. I am actually looking forward to 40. Means I made it half way through this journey and can relax a little. It will all be easier going over the hill, so to speak, from there, I think. Mid life should be a blast.~LOL~

I had an idea once but it died of lonliness.
