New to the Show!

By DogFaceGod at January 23, 2006 - 4:33pm | Introductions

Hello all from Rhode Island. I discovered Ghostly Talk a few weeks ago and have been listening to the archived shows since. I'm on show 36, or 37, right when it went to a two hour format.

I just want to say thanks for the show. Things in my life are very busy right now and I don't have the time to go hunting myself but I have always had an interest in the paranormal. You guys (Doug and Scott) run the show the way I would discuss things with my friends. I also like the fact that the main message of the show is "think."

I probably won't be able to listen live too often because of other responsibilities but I'll download those puppies and listen to them later.

I'm currently reading a boot called Uriel's Machine. It tries to "prove" that there was an ancient advanced civilization that was wiped out by a flood (yes, that flood), that there was a single language used worldside, and some other interesting things. It's pretty interesting, not really ghostly, but I thought others here might be interested.

Welcome!!! I read that book a couple years ago, pretty interesting stuff actually and I think really does fit in nicely with Ghostly Talk. Funny how many people these days I know are reading it....

Well hi howdy hey!!! Welcome to the site!!! Everyone at Ghostly Talk is great about how they run things. They are a blast to hang out with, too!!!
Thanks for the tip about Uriel's Machine... it sounds familiar. I wonder if I looked at it in the bookstore before? Hmm...

Again... welcome to the boards!

Uriel's Machine

By DogFaceGod on January 24, 2006 - 9:46am

The guys who wrote Uriel's Machine, Chris Knight and Robert Lomas, also wrote a couple of books on Freemasonry (The Hiram Key and The Book of Hiram) and one on the shroud of Turin (The Second Messiah). I think they're pretty fun to read but it seems that thier research fits too nicely with thier goals. It's hard to explain but I get a slight BS vibe when they piece together the evidence for thier case.

That's just one fellow's opinion. Your milage may vary.
