Scrying

By yostraw at March 26, 2006 - 9:03pm | Suggestions

I've been ghost hunting (homes as well as cemeteries) since March 1999. I have taken pictures of mirrors and/or reflective, which at first often was by accident. I do know the difference between reflective orbs and such, but I have gotten entities in them.

Also faces in orbs. I have a friend that knew I saw faces in a lot of orbs, and she sent me a few of her friends pictures with orbs in them, wanting to see what I saw in them. When I described the person (if I saw one) in it, and some had stories to them, her friends then would send a picture of the person I described to a T while that person was alive and how the story related to their life.

Just suggestions.

It's My Party & I'll Scry If I Want To..

By TushyGalore on March 27, 2006 - 6:59pm

*sorry about the bad subject line, sometimes I just can't resist*

I know that the general attitude around here concerning orbs is pretty much to poo-poo them on the whole but I know this for a fact:

My friend Danielle and I have both been avid photogs for years, she even taught a class on it while still in high school and then went on to take classes in it at a university, and neither of us had ever gotten so much as a "dust orb" until this last october.

I can pinpoint the date and time that I began picking up orbs and now it seems like I can't for the life of me *not* get orb photos!

Most nighttime photos and even some daytime, non-flash photos are now showing them when they weren't showing up before.

This also coincides with a spiritual awakening that I went through in late September/early October.

Since then I've gotten a few that clearly have faces in them! I'm not talking about cartoonic, matrixing kind of faces either, I'm talking symetrical faces with all the normal human features and in one it's clearly looking at someone I was there with!

I've been thinking a lot lately about trying my hand at scrying but wanted to wait until I could rid myself of all fear of it before giving it a shot.

I want to try "black water" scrying (water in a black bowl with a candle near by) and mirror gazing but I have two problems right now, one being the neighbor's flood light which never allows any room in the house to be completely dark and a bit of lingering apprehension.

I'm possitive that once I give it a shot I'll have possitive results, I'm just not sure that I'm ready for it yet.

You know what I do that

By 8bit on March 27, 2006 - 8:56pm

You know what I do that never ends to freak me out...
I light a candle next to the bathroom mirror and turn out the light.
Then I stare into the mirror, right into my eyes until I cant stand it, try it I guarantee you'll see your face change! Of course I have to sleep with the light on everytime I do that...

You've got to be kidding me?!?!? There is no way in Hades that I would do that. I won't even look in a mirror without lights on unless it's by accident. I have an orange night light in our bathroom and I can't even look in the mirror when just it is on. I need full light with a mirror or no mirror at all. I don't know what it is that scares the crap out of me, but it sure does. Maybe it's just too many scary movies!!!!!

Scary Scrying

By TushyGalore on March 27, 2006 - 9:03pm

That's one of the things I've been wanting to try!

Some say that those are the faces of your past incarnations, I'm not sold on that though.

I think I really have to be ready for it, I'm getting close. It's been something I've wanted to try since I was a teen but I dont want to introduce fear into my life sooooo... that's where the waiting til I'm evolved enough comes in.

XOXOXO

Just don't forget to invite the Candyman...

Now, did I call him six times, or only five? To tell you the truth, in all this excitement, I've forgotten myself. But this being a .44 Magnum...

Oops. Wrong film.

Although Virgina Madsen with a Smith & Wesson could be interesting...
