Experience of ghost encounter i had when i was around 8 - 9 yrs. old

This farm that i grew up with nearby was around for quite awhile. The man who owned it had told my Dad about some of the history of it. The soldiers from the civil war came through and camped in the fields and some even died there too. Along with slaves also. Well to get along with my story...I was out with my Dad on the farm and he was cutting up a dead tree to use for firewood. There are several graveyards where the slaves and some soldiers were buried at. The one was right above where we were at. I of course was not aware of this until i got bored and went up the hill. Right before i even noticed the graves i seen a man in a uniform which i can only describe as a soldier. He was standing next to this grave and asked me what my name was and i told him. He asked me what i was doing here and some other questions that i cannot remember. The next thing i know my Dad is asking me who i was talking too. I looked back to answer my Dad, that it was this man right here. I looked right back to the person and he was gone! The hill is really steep going uphill. Looking to the left and right the distance is pretty long and there is no way for him to run that fast to get away! (P.S. This was around 11am - 1 pm in the daytime. We had a new mall built in the city next to us that we were going to see and we were going there right after we got the wood on the farm.)
