Most Haunted

This may have already been talked about here on the forums, but is anybody here a fan of Most Haunted?

I like the show for entertainment purposes, but I doubt some of its authenticity.

Was a fan...

I was a fan until I started actually digging into it a bit online. I was never fully convinced of Derek Johnson (Acorah)'s authenticity, and then I found this article, which makes me question the whole show, although I did see that season 7 is supposed to have a new psychic medium.

All in all, I think most shows like this are pretty much for entertainment only, and I include Ghost Hunters (TAPS) in that list. Although I haven't seen many episodes, I guess that I'd rather be there for myself and not see grainy video on my television of their television playing supposed evidence. I have, however, always enjoyed Unsolved Mysteries, and I saw a box set at Best Buy (the devil) that had 4 dvds of their ghost episodes. Now all I need is a good torrent. :oP

Did anybody catch....

Did anybody catch their 3 part Halloween special they aired live this past October? They were looking for the ghost of Jack the Ripper. I thought it was great entertainment.

MH = WWF

I look at it as the WWF of paranormal reality shows.
The main difference being I actually watch Most Haunted.

Physical reality is consistent with universal laws. Where the laws do not operate, there is no reality -- we judge reality by the responses of our senses. Once we are convinced of the reality of a given situation, we abide by its rules.

It's entertainment value is

It's entertainment value is good for a Friday night.While I know that the show is cheesy and quit often very funny,with"possessions"and the constant screaming by every member of the cast.But I have to say that I do enjoy it for a good laugh.

Most Haunted

I've seen some of the Most Haunted series.

While not a fan, I'm glad they're out there doing their work...such as it is.
