Thought you guys might find this intersting - it's a news report posted on the BBC website... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/7817378.stm Something large and solid seems to have damaged the wind turbine. If it was an aircraft you would expect destruction of the aircraft (or at least a heavily damaged aircraft landing and drawing a lot of attention to it if it was still able to land). One blade is fully snapped off (66ft long), the other is severly bent. As the blades are comparitively lightweigth the likelyhood of one damaging another is pretty low. The more you look at it the more puzzling it looks. login to post comments |
