Hello folks, I wonder if someone could tell me what the best website is for information on shadow creatures?
thanks, Steve
I don't know how many of these links you have already hit, but here are a few that I personally found to be the most informative, or at least point in the right direction. Most of the theories on shadow people seem to follow the other dimensional vein. As far as getting rid of them goes, not allot to go on there. I do seem to remember reading something fairly recently about someone who banished a recurring shadow person by laughing and mocking it. For the life of me I cant find that article now of course. Anyway I hope this helps some.

Physical reality is consistent with universal laws. Where the laws do not operate, there is no reality -- we judge reality by the responses of our senses. Once we are convinced of the reality of a given situation, we abide by its rules.
VERY helpful links, Fashtall, thank you! :-)
Hey Steve, I dont know of any right off hand but if I were you I'd just hit google.com and search on "shadow people". There are bound to be hundreds of sites that at least address the topic.
Hmmm.. now I'm curious to see what's out there. I think I may be on my way to Google too.

Yah, tried that Tush. The information seems pretty sketchy with about.com links (which I abhor) or personal accounts of visits from shadow people. What I am looking for precisely is info on theories as to what they are and what causes them to appear and more importantly, how to get rid of them. I just can't seem to find a website that is dedicated to the subject...surprised there is not a biggie.
So I'm seeing! How very odd.
Art Bell used to have some info on the C2C site and he's had guesrs (RedElk was one of the best) who have talked on it quit a bit. Other than that I just dont know.
Are you having encounters with one?

Not me, but it sounds like two people I know are experiencing this...one online friend and also my friend and neighbour.
Online friend and son claim to see glimpses of the shadow figure in the house, especially in the hallway area and feel a cold "gooey" feeling on occasion in the hall. It also seems to give a bad feeling.
The neighbour's situation sounds very similar except for the gooey cold spots. Neighbour and son both saw short squatty black creature in the mirror. Neighbour said to son, "did you see that?" son said he did, so without telling each other what they saw, they both wrote down their discriptions on a piece of paper independantly and compared what they wrote to find the same discription. Neighbour's spouse has also seen the shadow creature squatting down in the corner of the room and then running away really fast when approached.
I was attacked by one of those things on 3 or 4 different occasions about 11 years ago when I was in physical rehab. so their existance to me is not a question. It's a scary feeling that I will likely NEVER forget.
Altho the notion intruiges me, I'm proud to say that I've never encountered one but gee whiz, it sounds like it's a phenom that's on the rise so perhaps my day will come.
I think I have an MP3 of the Red Elk interview concerning Shadow People. If you havn't heard it yet and would like to I'll upload it to my net host and give you an addess where you can go get it or listen to it.
Interested?
This thread scares the heck out of me.
I thought I had enough paraphysical, cryptozoological, pseudocorporeal entities to worry about, never mind all the optional extras like skinwalkers, psychic parasites, Men In Black, bigfoots (bigfeet?), and all the rest of 'em.
I just bet there's an annual convention for all them paracritters, most probably in Vegas, where they all get to kick back, load up, see some poledancing, and draw no undue attention on account of the fact that - well - it's LAS VEGAS for crying out loud.
Anyway, if they were really worried about public disclosure, they could all dress up like Elvis impersonators and even Art Bell fans could be shooting craps at the same table as them and not notice anything unusual.
