Ghostly Talk - 04/27/08 9:43 P.M.EST

By ScottL at April 27, 2008 - 4:43pm | Ghostly Talk | Show Recap

04/27/08 9:43 P.M.EST - We don't who it was, Murphy or Bill Bean, but we had some major technical issues tonight. We were able to fix them but we had lost an hour and a half. We were able to do half of a show though which we were happy we could do still. we had another head-pounding discussion with the brilliant Andrew Nichols, Ph.D. He laid it down again for us, you need to listen to what he is saying people!! To finish the night off, The Legendary Katherine Ramsland joined us to talk Talk Ghosts & Forensics. Check out her new book Bethlehem Ghosts.

I just finished listening to

By bobonthenet on April 28, 2008 - 12:35pm

I just finished listening to the pod cast, great job guys! What caught my attention was the part about creating a paranormal database. I could do this! My thought is that I would create an online form that could be easily imbedded into or linked to all the other paranormal sites out there and then the data could be exported in some sort of raw form. I don't know about you guys but I like my data RAW! My thought here is that it would be more flexible and easier to work with that way. I have the space on my current web host to get something like this started and then as the project grows the data will need to be moved but I figure we'll cross that bridge when we get there. Now that leaves me with what types of quantifiable data should I be asking for? Oh and for those that care I would be doing this with PHP and MySQL. Thoughts? Suggestions? Constructive criticism?

Another database?

By Ghostly Designs on April 29, 2008 - 6:28am

What about Worldwide Paranormal Reporting Center (WWPRC), http://www.wwprc.com/index.php is there a problem with the database they have already started? I don't want to deter you from what sounds like a worthwile project but why duplicate effort and create another site that has to be searched when looking for information?
