If bigfoot's eyes developed along the lines of many other animals, like the deer, so that it is capable of seeing some IR and UV then modern man's clothing and most of our equipment stand out in the forest like big bright beacons. Almost everything we use has additives that whiten or brighten colors with UV or IR sensitive chemicals.
