mammaoths vs. centaurs

This story is really interesting. I am torn between wanting to see live mammoths and not wanting to see some kind of theme park freak show disaster.

The methodology they are talking about using seems improbable, but I am no expert. If it works, the creature they get will still not be a mammoth. It will be a mammoth elephant hybrid. A mammophant? if they could keep impregnating mammophants with pure mammoth DNA, they would eventually get to something that is mostly mammoth and very little elephant. That would be tough, though.

My favorite thing about this story is this link to a centaur article at the bottom. It is unbelievably funny. That's pravda for you. They will print anything. Here is the link:
