Spontaneous part 1

To the way of thinking of this student of spiritual concepts the phenomenon we call spontaneous human combustion is by far the least understood & most misinterpreted.
This " happening" stands alone in that there is photographic evidence. We could convict OJ with the photos we have of the Mary Reeser (1951) & Dr I. J. Bentley (1966) scenes as the fire investigators look through the rubble where the people were "consumed".
I have to ask the question: Could it not be a courtesy or even a compliment removing the possiblity of a 4 day old stinking corpse...? What is worse than a dead body...?
How many of us die alone....?
Even if we are successful @ maintaining a couples relationship, one probably goes before the other leaving one to die alone.
Does this phenomenon have to be bad...?

Physically....I think this would be a horrendous way to checkout....I mean come on?? Buring alive?? What is positive about that??

Scott: my point is that this: the person's essence is already gone from the body...that this person has achieved all that was written for him/her in this lifetime...that unseen spiritual forces then surround & destroy the body as a curtosy so that there will not be an unpleasant corpse left behind.
In the Urantia Book they state that in far distant times, when we live to 125+ years this will be commonplace....we don't have quite enough years usually to do this at this time in our limited lifetimes.
I would not pull your chain Scott, I have studied a lifetme.

****you broadcast from the haunted winery, I live in an 1894 mansion which was the residence of a family that ran a brewery & ran whisky to Lake Erie In prohibition thru underground tunnels...it must be 300yds Scott from our basement to the River(Grand)..THAT is creepy...my landlord says Al Capone had his picture taken here(not verified).

I understand what you are trying to say here about the human condition. I agree with you as far as that goes.

I keep thinking though, catching on fire for no reason and burning to death from the inside out is pretty much the definition of bad.

If that is what is happening here I do not think you will find many lonely singles or old widows signing up for it. I would be more likely to get in the "sharp blow to the head with a claw hammer" line myself. :-)
