After last week's show, I wanted to share a book I love with you all. It's called Tamsin by Peter S. Beagle(author of The Last Unicorn). It's written for young adults and is set in England.

It's a coming-of-age story of a 13 year old girl who is suddenly has to move with her family from New York to a 300 year old spooky farm house in England. Of course, it has a ghost and also a lot of fun supernatural (zooform, cryptozoilogical?)creatures from UK folklore. Boggarts, pookas, the wild hunt, the black dog...I'm still not sure what the billy blind is, but it's so fun. I have listened to the audiobook a couple of times at work, which is read by the author. I love how he does the voices.

You can get it or check out the plot summary & reviews at amazon.com:

If you run across any good books, I'd love to hear about them!
Thanks!
