very active here

By jnlmorgan at November 15, 2007 - 1:31pm | Paranormal Experiences

We have a very active house, in a paranormal way. Things really started taking off about a year ago when my mother-in-law became very ill. It's like the door opened for the greeters and never closed. Either that or some people got left behind. All of the members of my family have had run ins with different things. I believe my father-in-law has, but won't admit it. We have shadows, talking, lights going on, doors moving on there own. We've tried to debunk, but alot of it can't be. I recently had a huge surgery and was very ill one night in the living room. Feeling horrible with a fever, and nobody around to help because they were all asleep in bed, I had the sensation that someone had put a cold cloth on my head. I put my hand to my forhead and it was ice cold, but only my forhead was. The sensation that someone was there was so strong that I thought when I opened my eyes that someone would be nose to nose with me and nobody was there. This morning my son turned off his bathroom light only to have it turn on when he walked out of the room. My oldest son and my husband are starting to get very upset about all of this saying they're done and it's not funny anymore. I think the activity is getting really bad because it's almost the 1 year anniversary of moms passing, and about the same time that this started last year. It's been so bad that my husband doesn't feel comfortable sleeping in our room alone in the dark, and that is pretty serious. I know I'm very sensitive to these things as I've had experiences with the paranormal all my life. The first one I can remember was at age 8 seeing people walking through walls. My fathers side are all very in tune also. We believe it's due to native american heritage, and for some reason things just happen around us. Luckily that makes it nice to have people to talk to that have similar experiences. My family has all had past experiences also, but I've never seen my husband so disturbed about them. My kids had an experience in an apartment we had. There were numerous entities, and they used to wake the kids up and talk to them at night which used to scare them so bad they wouldn't go to bed at night until we moved and it didn't happen anymore. Now though it seems that things are getting worse instead of better. I've put some things in the kids room to try and make things a little better such as sage, lavender, amathyst, and blessed water. It seemed to work, but obviously not completely. Though most of the activity has moved to other parts of the house. If anyone has any suggestions I'm open to them. I do want to get a tape recorder to try and get some EVP's, but on the other hand I don't know if I could handle that. Hearing those is pretty creepy, yes creepier than hearing voices myself. I just think what if it's something I don't want here. I don't think anything bad is here. I just know we've got some uninvited guests that have over stayed their welcome.

Did the activity ever cease? Were you ever able to find out the root of the activity? Just curious, I know it was over a year ago.

update

By jnlmorgan on October 7, 2009 - 1:18am

Things haven't slowed down here. If anything they're more active. Just tonight we had a hand mirror that somehow went from under the sink to being smashed in the shower after everyone went to bed. It hit so hard even the handle came off the mirror. I'm thinking about finally trying to get someone in here to investigate. We have gotten one cool pic of something at the end of my sons bed, and can't debunk it.

Hi jnlmorgan.

I think it may be serious if they are asked to leave but refuse. I'm not sure if that's the case though.

More important are them smashing things, your son having issues with them and your husband's concern.

I encourage you to please have an investigate team check it out just in case.
