i think i have a ghost...

I am wanting to know what you guys think.. hope that you have some insight because im not sure how to feel. I moved into my home 2 years ago , i have 3 children and theres myself and my husband. I have had what i feel is spirit activity going on, the funny thing is when we first moved in i was afriad of my bedroom, i thought i was being irrational and silly and managed to get over it, over time ive seen shadows and heard voices.. for instance, i heard a women very forcefully saying Angela, get up! I awoke and no one was there, i heard this plain as day, ive heard my 9 month old crying in her bed only to find her fast asleep. Ive heard my son talking to and acknowleding something or someone, he often proclaims that he is happy im alive.. this is from a 3 year old who runs frantically into my room every morning at 240. I feel uneasy in my room which coincidently is upstairs next to my sons room where most of the things occur. My daughter who was upset in her crib last night was about to be comforted by my husband but he said he heard a woman talking to her and thought it was me so he didnt go in the room. (now he is a down to earth thats all hogwash kind of guy and he suggested i search the history of the house and try to catch evp so i know he strongly believed in his experiece) well the thought of that is creepy and im afraid id be so frightned id never be comfortable in my own home ever agian.. nice ghost or not. I feel that this is a friendly kind ghost who only wants to play or love my kids but still i am afraid. Uneasy really, have you heard of these so called parental ghost and how can i coincide with it..it doesnt cause problems but .. i do alot of resale shopping and have heard lately that sometimes spirits can be attached to items you bring home.. i cant pinpoint anything but thats so much stuff in my house..lol.. anyways dont want to bore you, ..ha. can you offer some suggestion as to what to do. I think she sings to them as well. my goal is to stop being so scared. thanks.

Back in April you posted, your house may be haunted.
I think you should look more to this as the reason a spirit may be earthbound. *by choice or not*

I understand attachments to items and found rarely will such an attachment move about seeking interaction.
Not that it Can't happen but it is rare.

Early spring of this year my husbands father passed. He was a vedder/antique dealer. Their whole house is like stepping into the past. *he did Antique road shows and house was in Century homes mag.*
There are at least 3 spirits in this very old house.
Anyways. Mom-in-law no longer whats to sell out of the shop and has asked that we sell off as much as possible at a market. Some of this stuff is very old with odd vibrations to it. I too worried about bringing something home. When I took out a belt to source and tag, I heaved, gagging and dropped it immediately. Horrible feeling.
After sourcing it, I began to realize why. This belt was from a slave girl, back before Turkey was called Turkey. Og.. something Regime. *can't remember righ now* A beautiful and colourful belt with a horrible history. I'll admit I never brought it back home, even to try and cleanse the attachment. Sold it as is.
I've handled hundreds of these old items and haven't had an attached spirit stay in my home.

You said your goal is to stop being so scared. So.. your okay with this spirit hovering and making constant contact with your children rather than the spirit seeking you out. I personally act as a shield and demand it show itself to me, seek me out and not my children. When it comes to my kids I step between. A positive or negative spirit.

I moved into this house 6 years ago. It had a presence that showed itself to me and my youngest son. *kids all teens at the time* Took me 3 years to find the answer. Mostly because he only was about in February. *hence why we called him the february man*
It always amazes me how answers will come, will you start to ask within. He was one of those grumpy old men types. By the 3rd February, while at the market, an old couple stopped to talk, why I'm not sure since we sell computers and they had no interest. As they talked it became clear they knew this house and who died in it.
His name was Gabriel Knoll. Once I had the name, communication as to what was wrong enabled me to help him.

He woke one morning with a brain anurisium (sp) Didn't know who he was or his family. Died in the house shortly after. He wasn't haunting.. more confused as to why other people were in his house.
Though he hasn't completely left, the house is quiet. Only giving a hint that he is just passing through to remind me of my promise about a doll and a coin he kept showing me. When and if I find them, or the meaning to pass it to his wife.

I think... you must find out why your fear manifest, work through it and you will find a way to take command of your home. It is your home and have every right to feel at ease and safe within it.

There is more to this is there not? Seems there is something just out of reach. There is activity in my forehead but I'm being blocked.
I'm gonna have to think on this, but something tells me it's about you. Who you are and who the spirit is.

Stand strong and grounded. Don't run or turn your back and walk away. Stand your ground even if it approaches. You are stronger than you realize, it is fear that hinders you. There is always a reason why a spirit is around. The why is where the answer lays.
