Troy Taylor's Book

By AvidLebon at June 18, 2007 - 1:45pm | Ask Ghostly Talk

I was listening to the most recent show, and was trying to get a copy of Troy Taylor's Ghost Hunting Guide... However I found two books by him... One newer, and one older. The old one costs three times as much, and looks bigger, but the newer one... I'm not sure if it's the same book only newer... ::shrug::

I wanted to get the best handbook with the most info, which one is it?

The Ghost Hunter's Guidebook- http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Hunters-Guidebook-Troy-Taylor/dp/1892523043/ref=sr_1_1/105-4723896-3126853?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182191890&sr=8-1

or

The Ghost Hunters Handbook - http://www.amazon.com/Ghost-Hunters-Handbook-Troy-Taylor/dp/0965149765/ref=sr_1_6/105-4723896-3126853?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1182191890&sr=8-6

???

Also, have you guys been able to get the audio up from the college archive? (The one that delt with old interviews and research on the spiricom.)

Ever since hearing your show with Steven Rorke I've pretty much made up my mind on it, but am always interested in new info.

Also, when you were saying they claimed they had a photo of Dr. Muller, I think you may have meant death certificate. Which would be very interesting if that surfaced.

Hello, Avid.

I hope Doug and ScottL don't mind me stepping in on this thread. They interviewed me on the show on June 3. I've done a fair amount of original research on Spiricom and that's what our segment was about.

In particular - I'd like to know what you're referring to in your message: "Also, when you were saying they claimed they had a photo of Dr. Muller (sic), I think you may have meant death certificate. Which would be very interesting if that surfaced."

1. Who is the "they" you're talking about?
2. There are actually several photos of Dr. George Jeffries Mueller but most people have only seen 1.
3. I DO have his death certificate and said so on the June 3 show! I've had an officially-stamped copy of it for well over a year now. I redacted certain personal portions of a copy of it and sent it in the mail to Doug and ScottL which they received before that show. He was a real person (I've visited his grave site) and did NOT work for NASA (never did). He is NOT the same person as Dr. George EDWIN Mueller who was the former assistant administrator of NASA and considered the "father of Skylab" and the "father of the Space Shuttle". The latter Dr. Mueller is still alive to my knowledge (he actually gave a talk to a conference on returning to the moon back in 2005, I believe).

Hope that helps.

Sincerely,

Guy Jackson

Thankyou Guy! Well, here's the info I have, though if you can..

Thankyou Guy! Well, here's the info I have, though if you can enlighten me further I am very interested in this topic, as it has been debated for quite some time. I apologise that it got so very long...

The they I was referring to is the metascience foundation. On the promotional tape (Which is also an MP3 in the ghostly talk archives) George Meeks claims that Dr. Muller gave him personal information, including a death certificate.

The interview with Dr. Stephen Rorke also mentions the death certificate, but saying that it has never been found. (Which you say you have, and that peaks my interest a great deal) While listening to his interview I jotted down some of the points that he made in favor of the idea that Spiricom was not what it claimed to be. His main point would be the Nasa Muller and the deceased Muller were the same person. There was another discrepency in the information that you and Dr. Rorke have, in your interview you said you believed the NASA Muller to still be living, however Dr. Rorke reports him as dead. I've included this in quotation marks below (Though not direct quotes.) Original interviews located here- http://www.ghostlytalk.com/archives/bonusarchives/stephenrorke11.pls
and a follow up interview here

"He really did use 13 different tones as he said, however they are NOT
the tones he claims that they are.

The spiricom had a antenna (not just noise generation), a
transmitter, a reciever, and frequency hopping abilities. All encased
in a fariday cage. Rorke says "The Ghost of 29 megacycles" (book
written on spiricom) doesn't mention the use of the cage, so we aren't
sure how often it is used. It is questionable, as if it wasn't being
used then the spiricom could work alot like a ham radio, and the
operator just happened to be a ham radio operator. If he was using a
Fariday cage you shouldn't be able to hear a hiss on the recording,
the fariday cage would cancel that out. The tone generator was almost
like a replacement for a speaker on a ham radio.

So it is possible he recieved a signal from a ham radio operator.

There was a question as to why he would fake it, seemingly he has no
motivation. O'neil was being paid to conduct the research. If he
didn't deliver, he would have no income, the creation of audiotapes
funded his livelyhood. This may also be the reason he intentionally
didn't ask tough questions of the supposedly deceased as well.

(It gets a bit confusing here...)
The "Dead" doctor Muller they contacted also had a history in Ham
Radio, and has even built radios himself, he build long range
transmitters and recievers; he also worked for NASA with a lot of
other engineering history. This is how he knew which resistor to
change when the machine wasn't working right, not because he was a
dead ghost in the room. He knows electronics, and from what I
understand O'neil shared the details of the Spiricom with him and also
worked on another device with him. He would recognize the colors,
because in the world of electronics the parts are universally colored.
He doesn't need to be there to know the color.

A George E Muller died in 2001. Both he and the Dead Spricom Dr
George J Muller both worked at the same companies and contractors at
the same time frame doing the same thing. Both wrote the same
textbook held at the same historical society of wisconsin, both
Mullers home state. Both published a peer reviewed journal on
electron physics in a vaccume. Either this is a huge coincidence or
George E Muller was alive during the spiricom project, (probably
as a Ham Radio Operator). The Death certificate Meeks claims to have
had has not been found.

There was a middle name discrepency. Muller was a catholic. So he
had two middle names. His full name had both middle names in
discrepency. His full name would be Dr. George J E Muller.

Doc Nick might have been Muller. Muller's radio handle was Doc Nick
to honor his Great Grandfather Nicoli."

Until this point no other reasearcher has heard of the death certificate, and many (that I have talked to) believe it didn't even exist. However the proof that you have would prove that there are two different Mullers.

I know there would be many people who would be interested in seeing the death certificate as well as the photo of the headstone and other things mentioned... I hope that the Ghostly Talk crew scans in the files and uploads the mp3s. I myself am quite interested in seeing this evidence, as before you or Steven Rorke there was not much evidence than the tape and spiricom manual that were easy to find.

The only problem I have with Dr Stephen Rorke's research is that most cannot reproduce his research to verify it. I am delighted that he did include some things in his report "Spiricom or Spiricon." However since I do not have a connection at Nasa, nor can I contact Rorke (I've been trying to find an email for months, but nothing.) I don't have evidence of what he is saying.

It would be a very interesting to see what Dr. Rorke now thinks in light of this new evidence. Also, any news on sending an email to the NASA Muller?
