Georgia Ghost Society

The Georgia Ghost Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to continuing ghost research, conducting investigations into reported cases of paranormal phenomena and hauntings of a supernatural and/or preternatural nature. We also have taken an active part in helping to promote the State of Georgia's historical haunted locations.

A proud member of the American Ghost Society founded by Troy Taylor, the original Georgia Paranormal Research Team founded by Andrew Calder and John Zaffis' Paranormal Research Society of New England. Founder and director Robert Hunnicutt has 16 years of experience investigating cases throughout the southeast as well as the Midwest; Co-director Drew Hester has over 8 years experience and is the group’s resident parapsychologist. Assistant director Jason Lewis has over 9 year experience and has dedicated much of his life to psychic research.

Other team members include Julie Dye, Kelly and Leigh Calhoun, Leanne Boggs, Rory Sauers, Shaun Brehm, Dennis Ellerbee, Don Graham, Sean Joiner, Diana Avena, Kelly and Scott Team and Matt Brinkley. All of these members are greatly appreciated and are truly the epitome of professionalism, dedication, team work and are all valued members of the organization.

Three members of the G.G.S. are proud to serve as the Georgia representatives for the American Ghost Society; Drew Hester - North Georgia, Robert Hunnicutt - Central Georgia, Don Graham - South Georgia.

Currently Robert and Drew are working with Kim Eason Productions in Atlanta on a new paranormal television series, along with other cast members Dianna Avena of Roswell Ghost Tours and Richard Smith of Paranormal Investigations of Texas. We are also extremely hopeful that the cast will include a certain world-renowned psychic researcher who has investigated thousands of reports of alleged hauntings and witnessed and assisted in over 85 exorcisms to date. Also Robert, Drew and Jason are working with Ron McLellen of Southlan Films on a 90 minute documentary/movie titled "Investigating Southern Haunts". Robert serves as the lead investigator, Drew as the parapsychologist and Jason as the psychic researcher. Shooting began on October 31st (Halloween)in Dahlonega and promises to be a very unique and realistic look into the world of ghost hunting and paranormal investigations.
